Perhaps more
than how you'd feel for a random person
someone you just met
someone you pass by on the street
or even someone who holds the door open for you at a department store

I feel
more for you.

Perhaps less
than how couples feel for each other
those who have been through a lot
those who've shared countless special moments
those who have the fondest of memories

I feel
less for you.

But
when the moon shines brightly
when the rain falls lightly
when the soft breeze touches my face and makes me smile

I think of you

perhaps as much as
anyone can think of another

and I feel
