All I have are thieves and cutthroats

Or two-faced backstabbers

To keep me sane during the night

Tears flow unending

Sorrow is thy only friend

People are scarce

Daylight is averted

Where is my hero?

To sit with me under the stars

Or my knight in shining armor?

To dance with me through the night

Liars are my constant companions

They are the only ones who will stand by me

Or vagabonds

That continuously use me

Destruction of the self

Demolition of the heart

Death of thy friends

Soliloquizing is the only retreat

To talk with me endlessly
