Winter trees bring autumn snow,

As children wait for summer to grow.

Through the leaves of spring showers.

As April brings adoring flowers.

January brings a New Year come,

As the chill is all near gone.

As well the years of past and present.

When August comes to bring in fall.

October brings the golden leaf,

As the last falls from the tree.

November brings a chilling breeze.

Making way for December’s ease.

And so the leaves begin to grow,

As winter trees bring autumn snow.

And as the year begins to fade,

The seasons of the time await.
