In the corner I stand

shrouded by shadow

all invisible except for an occasional hand.

No I'm not hiding

but what I do you would never understand.

Once, not very long ago, I was there

and seen with much to share.

I used to love and try to do good

but now I see it helped only as much as rotten food.

all the good and all the help

didn't matter much coming from an incomptent welp.

So from then on I became what I am now

not much more than a memory

an invisible, unnoticable presense in the hall

man once did i have gall

Now I just stand aside

back in the corner

shrouded in shadow

all invisible except for the occasional hand
