Every night I think of you

Your face and

Your lips

That touched my own.

Our one embrace

Was a feeling

Deep inside my

Yearning soul

The night you left me

Left me for another

I cried my saddened tears

Tears in vain.

You were gone

And I was empty

Discarded and used

My heart ached for you

I saw you one day

And you saw me

For a moment

I was not alone

You turned away,

And I knew I was lost

Lost again

In a world of lies.

Months later, I waited

In agony of each minute

That passed by

I saw you once more

In your eyes

I saw

The thing I have

Wanted to see badly before

You loved me now

More than before

I could sense it

And I could feel it

My soul renewed

As your lips

Touched my own

Once again.
