Sugar-coated kisses
And butterscotch eyes;
Her semi-sweet smiles –
Plastic wrapped in lies.
Hair of melted chocolate;
Her lips are candy-apple red.
It only costs a pound of sugar
To get her into bed.
They call her Candy
‘Cause she tastes so sweet.
She dresses up in marzipan
For when she walks the streets.
She had to pawn her soul
In order to pay the bills.
The room’s full of body heat,
But she always gets the chills.
There’s always someone in her bed,
But she’s never felt more alone.
Her heart aches with memories of
Stolen kisses and cheap cologne.
They call her Candy
‘Cause she tastes so sweet.
She cries lemon drop tears
When she’s beneath the sheets.
