Chapter One
I couldn’t wait. It was the night of the carnival or as some girls like to call it “Hot Single Woman Seeking Young Built Man” night. This was the once a year event where every girl who was single usually got a new boy friend. I knew (well at least I hoped) this would be the night where I found a compatible man to be with. I hadn’t had a long term relationship in a while and I was ready for one.
I was a twenty-five year old, blonde haired, blue eyed woman, who has never been married, and has no kids. I was even a virgin. You would think I would have to fight the guys off of me, but the truth was that really had never been the case. Whenever I was around guys I got so nervous that I think I scared them off. I just don’t know what it was. Something about the opposite sex just made that happen to me.
It took the next two hours just to figure out what I was going to wear. “What’s it going to be? My really tight low cut sexy hot pink shirt, or my nice simple looking tank top?” I was asking my friend Jade who was sitting on my bed. I always asked her for fashion advice.
“You should wear the pink one,” she said looking up at me. “It shows off your curves.” Jade was my best friend. She was the one who had all the guys rapped around her finger.
“Are you sure?” I asked her. “You don’t think it will make the guys less attracted to me then they already are?”
“You will look like the hot mama you already are and you will have all the guys drooling when they see you,” Jade said reassuring me. She always was the positive one. Giving everyone the reassurance and confidence they needed.
“Okay, fine. I’ll wear that one,” I said giving into Jade’s opinion. I put the shirt and the pants I chose and looked in the mirror. I had a nice figure. I now had no doubt that I was going to find a nice lookin’ guy tonight who would accept me for who I was. I then grabbed my car keys for my ’69 ford mustang and headed out for a night of fun.
