Murdering the Weather Man

My heartbreak is total even if it isn’t complete

I can see the pieces lying there at my feat

You picked me up and you threw me down

You smashed my heart

Then threw it back to me, splicing on the ground

Its overkill you know

You’ve killed me long ago

I can’t find the reasons and I can’t find the stone

It has our imprint still

From that sunny day long ago

The weather was lovely when you took my hand

Now only grey skies are in my weather plan

Let’s all just kill the weather man

Take my hand once again please as they wheel me away

And as you smile as I lose my hand in this play

Never forget who gave you your cards

I made you what you are

I might be down now girl, but one day you’ll see

Down, not out.

I never lose at Monopoly.
