In the end, when we stroll together,

And joy abounds, light as a feather,

When the sun rises as our joy does so,

And falls as we calm and we let it go,

We will be one being,

One soul, our freeing,

And trusting and caring,

And loving and daring,

Not worrying to wonder that the time may come,

When the music we are falls apart on a false strum,

And she will change and I will falter,

And she will worry and I will alter,

And when the end comes,

We'll be one song,

And when the end comes,

It will all go wrong.
