I cannot breathe alone

My heart can't beat on its own

Need resuscitation.

Save me, I plead, please

Revive my lungs to breath, please

Deliver me, please

But not just to sit

Like a rock, like unmoved stone

Revive me to scream

No more quiet, silent,

But alive, impassioned,

No more quiet, silent

The sparks I'm needing,

When I crumble to dust, dirt

They come from you alone

I cannot breathe alone

My heart can't beat on its own

Need resuscitation.
