No Regrets

Part I.

Prologue:

Journal Entry

July, 7, 98

Everyone has best friends, mine was Meagan. We couldn’t go anywhere without one another, growing up I wondered what it would be like if she were no longer with me, no longer in my life. Of course, now that I am 17, I know. She died a few days ago, a painful death. The pictures that are sitting in front of me make me cringe, they are amazingly graphic. Her deep green eyes once so full of life, now stare lifeless into the great beyond while her mouth, slightly open, seems to be pleading to the gods for a swift relief from the pain she had suffered. There isn’t much left of her body though, her limbs were torn steadily, slowly from her body as the blood pooled around her. That is what the pictures showed, and I still wished that my eyes hadn’t seen this sight.

I am sure the police questions this, are even shocked, after all, I am the one who murdered her.
