seems to be
is anger and bad news
on Channel 9 at 10 PM
and
war stories and murder cases
on Channel 10 at 11
well where are
the days
when life wasn't such a scary thing
and it was safe
to play in the streets
at dusk with the neighborhood kids
when
only the grown-ups knew about bad
and even then, they were
hard-pressed to find any
on the evening news.
