Fire

They extinguish my flame

Then say I am the one to blame

They send me away

Like its any other day

I wonder when I will go back

They say I will not

Until I gain the things that I lack

I do what they want

And try to stay strong

But I don’t think I can for long

For they wear me down

Into the ground

Until my fight and fire is gone
