We use to walk toward our

freedom short-lived in search

of beauty hidden in the lies

all the world presented to

us. We could stay for hours

as our tears froze innocence.

The cool night air wrapped

us memories to take

home. As we warmed

ourselves from the

bitterness of strangers

we relaxed the notion

that each believed

in fairness for all

but hardly acted

on it. When we

were together

no truth was

ever presented.

All morals

forgotten.

Every one

of us had

shed our unique

casing, choosing

only to blend in.

Yet we viewed

all conformity as

immoral. Blame it

on destitute life-skills or

just simply

on the fact

that juvenile

immortality

reigns over

all..

...each individual states their opinion

in hopes of pure respect but

when surrounded with

familiarity truth is always

welcomed.

For us it was the fact that we

could depend on each other that

counted as the truth. This teenage

naivety was

overwhelming

in the sense that

we could always

be trusted,

which in itself was a lie.

So why

strive

for

turth

when you trust no one ;

when you find

it impossible to be

honest with yourself?

My

surmise

shall

conclude

that

every

action

made

hid

our

truths

but

we

believed

in

LOVE to free us;

AIR to remember us,

and the MINDS of us ALL

to understand that there is

no truth if you can not

lie.
