You were always by my side

They say life’s on big rollercoaster

Now I’m alone for the ride

I gaze out into darkness

The tears I shed are real

I wish I had one more chance

To tell you how I feel

I look into my mirror

I don’t like what’s staring back

I want to face my fears

But there’s courage that I lack

I want to write you a letter

To tell you everything

I want to write you a poem

But the rhyme won’t ring

The rain will start soon

I hear the thunder crash

I think of your face

Was my goodbye to rash
