Floating keys,
Treasure bees,
Help me still my knocking knees
My heart, it quakes
My bones may ache
But I can’t stop, no I can’t fake
Another smile
Not for a while
Save me from this trying trial
Rain, it calls me
From outside
But I can’t answer for my pride
Soft as dust and cool as rust
Learning how they say we must
Forget our fears beside our joys
But neglect to make us coy
Enough to make it in this world
Between their smiles and fancy pearls
Dive me down into your deep
Know I know you in my sleep
And want always your heart to keep
