Things I Enjoy

I enjoy long walks

Through state parks,

So long as it's not too cold out.

I enjoy black and white photography,

Sleep, being on the computer,

Especially when I'm not supposed to be.

I love the smell of paper

In notebooks and novels.

It's not like I go around

Sniffing computer paper.

I'm not that odd.

Really.

I like finely tipped pens,

Particularly black ones,

At the moment.

I also enjoy

Finishing poems

Without thinking

'This is crap.'
