Safehouse

I get the call—
I’m stuck being the chick with the safe-house again
Where every kid’s dreams come true
And no one can judge
‘Cause we’re all as fucked-up as you
And people can be themselves
‘Cause we’ll love you no matter what
And everyone can escape the real word
‘Cause this home is too accepting
And I wish we were all just stuck-up, snobby bitches
So I wouldn’t be put in this position
Of having to rescue my dearest
From their own homes
Because they would want to escape from
Not to
Me.
