Lies, deception, bittersweet conception

He was with the wrong impression.

Oppression from the west is best, they say

But I disagreed, and they went on their way.

The head honcho had some ideas in his head.

He preached some tactics in which he said:

“My fellow Americans, relationships unjust

They’ve gone against us, and now lost our trust.

Fight for what we believe in!” said he.

But we could not see to see.

Blind obedience led the way to dread.

So many people turned up dead

In the sandy regions of the country, Iraq

We believed Sadam had Osama’s back.

Fight, we did, from March ’03 ‘til today.

“Worry not!” GW said, “Let Rightness lead the way.”

But he was wrong. People saw through the lies.

Come home soldier boy, before anyone else dies!

Only time will tell when the “clean-up” is through.

After that, there’s no telling what they’ll do.
