Excuse

She sits where walls meet.

The spiders keep her company,

And the darkness makes her laugh.

She cries dry tears,

And they rain down her plastic skin.

Her pondering mind

Now empty like the ceiling.

Who used to get smiles,

Quick glances now.

So who are you to call her,

Old news.

You played with her yesterday,

When the sun still

Shined everyday.
