He’s peacefully alone, seeds to be sown
Ritual table set, nothing to regret
Protection made, stones of jade
The fires dim, he approaches the rim

His eyes close, his mind goes
No one knows where, but he’s there
His chant begins, the room spins
The spell to cast, to forget the past

Sharpen the sword, and refuse to board
Dawn the armour, even the score
Elder god sought, Wisdom to be taught
Young Goddess, my spirit did she bless,

Element of stone, could you have known?
Spirit of fire, You I admire
Bringer of storms, teach me the norms
Stillness of the lake, the give and take

Mount the Saddle, ride out to battle
Steeds stride, no where to hide
Rush of blood, knee deep in mud
Power of spirit, they fear it

Stone heart, the hardest part
Fire in his eyes, burns their lies
Thunder Storms fury, they leave in a hurry
Thoughts of the lake, and he lets the dam break.

Full moon risen, evening sun set
Warm nightly breeze, everything wet
Stillness of heart, Candles still lit
Nothing more to do, time to just sit

His focus returns, sight be gone
Concentrate now, gone for so long
Left and hadn’t, was he wrong?
Stillness of heart, time to move on
