I used to be able to write
Without guilt or discrimination
Why would u lie to the world?
After all, you're reputations not worth shit anyway
But you've taken my words and force-fed them back to me
Choking me on my honesty
So now all the criticism has chained my book shut
The ink from my pen only shows up when my words aren't really mine
(I could write fluently for a year)
Afraid of your reaction, afraid of my words
Why write if it's bias? Why can't I be honest?!
It's my writing, my thoughts
But thanks to you, I lost my one true love…
