Crashing Down

Can you hear the whispers of your past?
The echo of your life haunting you,
Sensing your forgotten love in presence,
Until dawn will break and death will take.

Forsaken Angel, why do you cry?
Why do you take that blade to your wrist?
Your world may be falling out of sync,
But why my Angel, why do you cry?

Good for nothing you say the world cries,
A shadow engulfed by the day’s lies,
You’ll never be the same again,
Lost inside yourself, a lost soul.

Downward spiraling and out of control,
Recklessly disbanding the only hope,
Your tourniquet of survival lost with your faith,
Crashing down my Angel,
Your wings have been clipped at last.
