Extra long chapter, because I merged two would-be chapters together! I also bring you a yummy kissing scene! Enjoy!
Chapitre Neuf:Jeu et Bisou
Camdyn was intrigued this morning. Most mornings he was bored, or tormenting some poor boy in the bathroom, or getting into fights. But this morning he was genuinely intrigued.
The curiosity that had caught his eye that morning consisted of three people: Mister Perfect, L.P. and Goth Boy. He knew Mister Perfect’s name was really Sage Gray and that Goth Boy, who had always been on his list of “to-do’s” anyway, had introduced himself as Ashton at the dance last week. He had no idea what L.P.’s real name was though, and he knew that the skater punk was a problem. There was no way he’d be able to corner Ashton alone as long as he had his police dog in tow. Pity, the kid might have made a good fuck.
But he’d known that for a while. What had him curious this morning was that fact that they were all clustered together today, chattering on like good old friends. Since when was handsome jock Sage Gray the type to hang out with anyone OTHER than the social royalty? Speaking of which, said royalty, commonly known as the other jocks, were skillfully ignoring the group. Could it be that Sage and the Royals had a falling out?
“How terribly interesting.” Camdyn muttered to himself as he rested his back languidly against the railing of the stairway, watching from a safe distance.
“Hmm?” Judy hummed, clearly uninterested, as she sat hunched on the stairway and painted her toenails a bright shade of violet, her brown dreadlocks falling around her shoulders.
“The newly formed trio over there,” Camdyn gestured with his chin, “I’ve never seen all three of them together in one place. I’d figured El Kernel Danger would have pummeled Perfect if he’d gotten too close.”
“You mean L.P.?” Judy asked with her thick British accent, glancing up and raising a pierced eyebrow at him, “He sure is a looker ain’t he? So mysterious…”
The curly haired brunette grumbled and rolled his eyes dramatically. Why was it that Judy never seemed to grasp what he was trying to discuss? Honestly, if the girl hadn’t been a constant source of make-up and nail polish he’d probably never have bothered hanging out with her in the first place.
“Yes, sure, whatever, but its disheartening.” Camdyn explained sulkily, “At this point I’ll never get to shag our stuttering wonder in black over there, and that would be a damn shame.”
“Do you ever think of anything other than fucking in general, Cam?” she asked dryly without looking up.
Camdyn didn’t dignify that with an answer. Mostly because the answer would be something like: “Erm, not really.”
“Anyway you’ve got a good collection of other toys, love, why are you so bothered by having to leave this bloke alone?”
“Because it’s exciting!” Camdyn replied pointedly, as if it were obvious, “It’s a thrill to start fresh with a new one…”
Judy rolled her eyes.
“Oh I see,” she groaned, “You like the thrill of the hunt, but once you’ve got it you lose interest.”
“Now you get it!” Camdyn cooed and clapped his hands sarcastically. He made a pouting face when Judy wrinkled her nose at him.
“Well, why don’t you scope out your competition then?” she offered.
“What, do you want me to die?”
“Not LP, obviously,” She looked up at him like he was some kind of idiot, “The blonde one there, Charming or Perfect or whatever. The one all the bimbos fawn over.”
Camdyn raised a finger to his chin and chewed his lip thoughtfully, allowing his eyes to drift to the ceiling. It might not do him any good in the end, but teasing was something he did best, and jocks were pretty easy to con. He already had some dirt on Sage; maybe he could threaten him with a rumor that the blonde didn’t want spread…
…Or he could just waltz over there right now, since LP had conveniently just left! Camdyn stared in sheer awe at his good luck as the walking cockblock waved goodbye and not only vacated the area, but went out the front doors and left the school!
“Dentist appointment.” Judy piped up, having noticed the incredulous grin on his face, “He said so to Mrs. Jeffrey in the hall this morning. What a stroke of luck, right?”
Camdyn gave her a nod.
“Now excuse me as I go invade their personal space.”
He weaseled his way between other students in the hallway, unnoticed by his prey until he was suddenly right in front of them.
“Ashton,” Camdyn cooed, slinking between he and Sage very suddenly, “Long time no see! Worked up a tolerance to dancing yet?”
He heard the blonde make an very unhappy noise, but ignored him completely and brought his face closer to Ashton’s.
“Uhm, n-no, dancing and I s-still don’t m-mix…” the wide-eyed boy stammered.
“Really? Well, I could give you private lessons you kn---”
“EXCUSE US!” Sage exclaimed, grabbing Camdyn by the arm and dragging him down the hall, leaving Ashton alone and blinking.
“Ow ow ow!” Camdyn whined, “I mean I like it rough sometimes but if we’ve still got our clothes on then it’s no fun!”
“Shut up!” Sage snapped, “Now listen, you keep your dirty hands off Ashton, or I swear—”
“You’ll what?” the brunette looked him up and down, “Sic LP on me?”
“Why ask him when it would feel so much better doing it myself?”
Camdyn sized up his opponent. The blonde was a bit shorter than him, but he was certainly stronger, so a fistfight was probably not a good idea. And from the look on his face, Sage really meant business. Psychological warfare then.
“Oh well then, by all means, beat the shit out of me,” Camdyn replied quietly, then dropped his voice to a whisper, “but all the while I’ll be screaming about how you’re Daddy’s a drunken asshat who always used to beat you until you were fifteen and built up enough muscle to defend yourself.”
Camdyn would have paid anything to have had a camera right then to capture the look on Sage’s face. First it was just shocked, then angry, then a cross between confused and hurt.
“Where the hell did you hear that from?” Sage whispered back, his voice cracking.
Just then the bell for first period rang, and Camdyn smiled broadly.
“You want to talk? Lunch hour, Janitor’s closet on the third floor, Hallway B. I’ll be waiting.”
And with that he marched off, feeling very pleased with himself. He’d like to see Sage outthink that. Now all he had to do was figure out what he was going to do with the angry idiot once he got him alone…luckily he had until lunchtime to figure it out.
Sage was fuming. He tried to hide it, but he wasn’t doing a very good job and Ashton kept asking him what Camdyn had said to him. Apparently “nothing” was not the answer the little guy was looking for, and he was going to keep prodding him until he got something a bit more substantial. It didn’t help that they were in Art, so Ashton could continue to question him even during class.
“Look, I’ll be fine, I’m going to have a word with him at lunch.” Sage muttered between clenched teeth, drawing the stupid vase in front of them.
“Look, I really don’t c-care if C-Camdyn’s harassing me!” Ashton insisted, fiddling with his own pencil, “I-I’ve dealt with bullying all m-my life, this isn’t m-much different!”
“It’s not just about you.” Sage assured him, placing his pencil down tensely and glancing at the clock, “He’s just looking to cause trouble. Look, don’t worry, I’m going to sort it all out.”
“B-But…”
The bell rang.
Finally, thought Sage, and he practically leapt out of his seat.
“I’ll see you after lunch!” he called behind him as he rushed out of the room.
He sprinted to the staircase and up to the third floor, not encountering anyone on the way. The third floor was for clubs only, and they only used their rooms after school, so the whole place was almost always deserted until then.
Sage skidded to Hallway B, and was shocked to see Camdyn already there, mid-way down the hall in front of the janitor’s closet, leaning against the wall. He looked up when the blonde rounded the corner.
“Alright!” Sage exclaimed as he came down the hallway, “I’m here! Now tell me--!”
“Hang on,” Camdyn, yanked the closet door open, turned on the light and beckoned Sage to follow him in, “Just in case anyone wanders by.”
Sage sighed heavily and followed Camdyn in—a poor choice, on his part—and waited quietly for the taller boy to shut the door and turn the lock.
“There,” Camdyn said smartly, “Proceed with your line of questioning.”
Sage smacked his palm to his forehead and didn’t let Camdyn’s smartass condescending tone rattle him.
“Shit, just where the hell did you hear that stuff about my Dad?” Sage demanded, but he was talking quietly this time.
“Let’s just say one of your neighbors and one of my friends share secrets,” Camdyn said simply, leaning calmly against the concrete wall, “And my friend isn’t so good at the secret-keeping part.”
Sage bit his lip. There was a girl about ten years old who lived with her family in the house beside theirs. And Judy Siston, who was in their year, was her babysitter. Judy, being Camdyn’s best friend…shit. He clenched his fists.
“Look, don’t you go digging up my family’s issues at school.” Sage warned, but his heart wasn’t in it.
“Aww, or what? Really though, what can you do to keep me from saying anything?” Camdyn smiled as he spoke.
Sage’s shoulders slumped.
“Just what is it that you want from me?”
Camdyn tilted his head to the side, like he was amused by the question.
“I think I know a way for all this to go away,” Camdyn pushed away from the wall and approached him.
“What then? You want money?” Sage asked, but suddenly the pervert’s face was looming pretty close to his and he had to back up.
“Wait—” Sage began to understand the kind of situation he was in, and who he was in it with.
“Relax, all I want is a kiss.” He batted his big brown eyes and backed Sage up against a wall.
“Excuse me?”
“One, nice kiss. Then you have something on me too and we’re even.”
“F-Fuck that! Everyone knows you’re a pervert! How is that something on you?”
“It’s that or I get real talkative in the cafeteria, your choice.”
Sage’s brain was on overdrive. He was supposed to let this asshole, who was blackmailing him and harassing his friend, kiss him? It wasn’t that Camdyn wasn’t attractive. Sage could appreciate that he was a really handsome guy. But he was still a guy! And on top of it, he was the kind of handsome that you’d call a wild tiger. Nice to look at but unpredictable, dangerous and probably hungry. He was a predator.
But did he have a choice? He didn’t even want his friends to know how pathetic he was, let alone the entire school…
Camdyn knew he had won, Sage could see it in his face.
“Fuck, fine, but you mention this to ANYONE…”
Camdyn smiled triumphantly as Sage eyed him, fists clenched and body rigid.
“I can do this.” He thought firmly, “All I have to do is stand here and humor this fag. No big deal.”
Sage nearly whimpered. He wasn’t even convincing himself. He was absolutely petrified, but he’d already agreed and it was too late to turn tail now. He had to be a man!
So ironic, Sage thought miserably.
As Camdyn’s face approached his he mentally braced himself, sealing his lips on impulse.
“You have to open your mouth.” Camdyn breathed sensually across the blonde’s face. Sage blinked.
“What?” he asked stupidly. Deep down he was aware that he was just stalling for more time.
“If you’re going to let me do this it has to be a proper kiss.”
“Proper…?”
“Listen, do we have a deal or don’t we?” Camdyn demanded, his tone of voice dangerously serious.
Sage swallowed. This would be the perfect time to have an asthma attack.
Camdyn eyed him dangerously, and Sage’s shoulders slumped slightly in defeat.
“Y-yeah, fine, okay.” He muttered so quietly it was almost a whisper. His eyes shot away and focused on a crevice in the wall as he reluctantly parted his lips just a crack.
Sage glanced back to see Camdyn smile slowly, like he’d already known he’d win this battle, and he lifted his two forefingers to Sage’s bottom lip and gently coaxed his mouth open further. It disturbed the blonde just how good Camdyn was at the whole “seduce and take advantage” game. He averted his gaze again.
The brown-eyed boy reached up with his other hand and tilted Sage’s face until it was level with his, forcing eye-contact between them.
Sage was almost trembling with apprehension at this point. He wanted to tell the jerk to just get it over with, but he was too frightened to speak. This situation was just too unbelievably awful.
Camdyn just stared up at him for a while, like he was marveling his work. Just when Sage thought that maybe Camdyn was just going to memorize the mortified expression on his face and then leave him be, the brown-eyed youth leapt forward and crushed their lips together, catching the blonde completely off-guard. Sage kept his hands pressed firmly against the cool cement wall behind him, eyes wide open in horror.
From the very start it was completely different compared to kissing a girl. This kiss was far more dominant, overpowering…and that was just with lip contact alone. Sage didn’t respond at all of course, praying that Camdyn would just get bored and leave, but if anything it made other boy more insistent and determined.
Sage nearly pulled away when he felt something warm and wet trace its way along his lower lip. Gross! His shoulders tensed visibly at the act, and he heard Camdyn chuckle quietly as his hands traced up the blonde’s arms.
“Damn, I should have set some boundaries!” Sage cursed inwardly, screwing his eyes shut.
Camdyn didn’t give him time to think, in seconds he locked their lips together, his tongue sliding in and roaming around Sage’s mouth like a cherry flavored snake. It would be an obvious lie to say that Camdyn was bad at what he did, because despite how foreign and positively disturbing the kiss felt, it was undeniably soothing. The blonde’s knees started to weaken slightly when Camdyn’s tongue wrapped around his own, and the other boy must have noticed because he started paying special attention to it.
Sage was starting to find it increasingly difficult to keep himself from kissing back. He cursed Camdyn inwardly. How dare he threaten his sexuality this way like some little innocent ninth-grader? But… it really…did feel nice…
Lost in his thoughts, Sage nearly had a heart attack when he felt Camdyn feeling up the front of his pants. He broke the kiss instantly, pushing away from the brown-eyed boy in a panic.
“Y-you…” Sage was surprised to discover that short of breath, “You said…you said a kiss… only a kiss!” He forced the last word out in a whisper, suddenly worried that he might be overheard, “Y-you…”
“Yes, yes I know…” Camdyn mused as he licked his lips, “I suppose I did promise, I guess I got a little carried away…” He brushed a lock of curly hair out of his face, “So I’ll keep my mouth shut about everything…At least now I know that I was right about you…”
“R-right about what exactly?” Sage demanded furiously, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand and glaring, trying desperately to regain composure.
“Oh, you’ll figure it out soon enough, Blondie.” Camdyn assured him, gazing at him fondly, “You might want to fix your hair a bit though before you head back to class,” He advised, “You’re wearing that “I just made-out with someone” look. I mean it’s a real turn-on, for me anyway, but I don’t know if that’s what you want the school to see…”
As Camdyn spoke Sage blushed, patted down his hair and adjusted his collar. Camdyn reached for the doorknob and turned to offer him one last knowing Cheshire smile.
“WHAT?” Sage demanded.
“Nothing really…” Camdyn mused, “I just love being right…”
And he left without an explanation, leaving Sage confused and praying to God that this was a one-time thing.
End of Chapter 9!
Edited some of the old chapters. Still not happy with them, since my writing style has changed a lot and everything. I also find the whole nickname business in this story very tiresome now, but that will require a heavier kind of editing that I don’t have time for right now, so this will have to do.
I felt like writing this all of the sudden, so here you go! A had a page or so lying around for a while and the end of this chapter was one of the first ideas I ever had for this story, so I figured I might as well finish it up and post it.
For those who don’t know, “jeu” means “game” in French, and “bisou” means “kiss”.
I’m sorry that I haven’t updated…well…any of my stories lately, but I will try to do better! I need to get back into practice anyway.
Just a note on why my writing style has changed so much from the start of this story until now…I started this story while I was still in high school, I am now in my fourth year of University. So…that’s that. I might still finish this story, but it might take a while :)
