Fairy Tale

Once upon a time,

in a land far away,

for that’s what they all say.

Where characters,

run,

jump,

and play.

Where stories are made,

with imaginative minds,

as they are acted out as plays.

Characters are born,

and friendships are betrayed.

That’s just the way,

life is.

Whether be friend,

or foe.

As brave knights,

slay dragons.

Magical wizards,

cast ancient spells.

Humans,

ride on dragons,

in far away lands.

A clumsy princess,

turned into a frog.

A strange child forgets her past,

but remains different from everyone else.

A small girl,

finds her destiny all on her own.

A detective,

finds love and friendship,

on her case.

Seven riders are chosen,

to save their own world;

but they don’t exactly want to.

An epic hero procures,

a lovely maiden,

on a quest to save mankind.

There are many other tales,

with heros and maidens,

wizards and dragons;

in fantasy,

or non-fantasy books.

There is something,

special and different,

with each book you read.

With characters,

or tales to tell.

The fairy tale books,

slowly come to a close.

In invisible ink,

the book always says,

‘The End’.

Until the next book,

begins.
