Parrot

Parrot in my kitchen pot

Never shall I hear you squak

Never raise an eye or beak

Call me names or give me cheek

Secrets secrets you wont tell

Secrets that I’ve kept so well

Parrot in my kitchen pot

Now is supper, thanks a lot!

Parrot in my kitchen pot

Saying things that I’ve forgot

Whispers of your scratchy call

Calling from the Devil’s hall

Secrets secrets you wont tell

Secrets that I’ve kept so well

Parrot in my kitchen pot

Now is dinner, thanks a lot!

Parrot in my kitchen pot

Why is it my head’s so hot

All your fault my head does burn

Burning with such fierce concern

Secrets secrets I must say

Secrets that I’ll say today!

Parrot in my kitchen pot

You have freed me, thanks a lot!
