Cherry Blossoms in the trees

Leave their branches and fall to the ground.

They create a carpet, deep pink and red,

Regal flooring for the world.

The wind comes across the petals on the ground,

and sends the carpet into the air.

Petals sweep quietly, like passing thoughts

of beauty and peace.

Spinning in the air, like a silent fairy's dance

The cherry blossoms fly away

Silent passing of pink and red

Flying away for another spring.
