Lost Sanctuary

Among the noise of silence –
Falling silently with the stars.
My existence is futile –
My existence is false.

Your memory within mine –
Gently breaks in my name.
Your voice reverberates –
A ricochet within me.

A solitary figure among a desert –
Parched, thirsty for a drink.
A lost little lamb among strangers –
Searching for a sanctuary.

I don’t know anybody –
No one knows me.
My haven – My sanctuary –
My existence – is futile.

The school bell rings.

Back to reality.

A/N: Everyone feels lost without their better half. I just finished break and my other half wasn’t in school. It just feels like everything is just wrong and you’re lost in someplace you don’t know. It’s like there’s something missing in everything because you’re just used to having him there. I just miss my Moeschele, that’s why I wrote this. I know it’s a bad format and everything, but I just thought of Emily Dickenson’s poetry and I came up with this.

Eep! Moderate flames please!
