Insanity
I love my mind.
The twisting passageways.
The cavernous corridors.
I know it off by heart.
I know what lurks behind every door.
I know where every key is hidden.
What looks like clutter is organization.
Strange shapes pace the halls.
Terrifying noises occupy many rooms.
Some doors won't open. Not now.
But I ma patient, they will soon.
Creatures lurk where you least expect them.
Music filters through all walls.
Light and dark both have their place.

The meaning of life is trapped
In the complicated web of information.
Can you get it out?

My mind is an open book,
Free to anyone to read.
Many have tried, but there are no maps.
I am willing to be your guide,
But none ask.
The wish instead to find their own answers.
Wandering Shepard-less, until they go too far.
Their own curiosity deceives them
They try to open a locked door, that none may see
And they are shocked.
They withdraw into themselves
Images taunting their own mind.
Trying to comprehend.

Oh! If they had only asked for help!
It would have never ended like this!
I would have shown them the light,
But all are drawn to the darkness
Which they cannot understand.
No one understands.
No one but me.

For it is my mind,
I created it.
I found the keys to all locked doors.
I hid them. I protected the world
None of the darkness must leave!
But when they toy with it,
Play with power, something they don't understand,
It is released. The door is open.
Never to be closed again.
It's their fault.
Not mine.
They prodded, they convinced,
And they got what they wanted.
I mould a new lock.
Move the knowledge to a different location.
And hope that no one tries to free it again.
