Alright, a Brand New story... yay? This is gonna be a little... new for me. It is my first Co-op writing. (Wolf Queen 001 is my co-writer). We will be switching off every chapter, she will write the story from the hero's perspective, while I will be the villain. I think this could turn out to be a very fun and entertaining story. We will probably have this story on both of our accounts, though we may have seperate commentary. (Yes I know you all love my comments... . ) So without further waiting, the begining, (Writen by her).

Three thousand years ago, the world was consumed by fire and blood. Man and beast fought side-by-side to overcome the great peril to their only home. Everyone participated, many died, but most importantly, the world was saved from something that could have enslaved the creatures of this land, oppressing the souls of the true…

Now it was back, the darkness, and it wasn’t going to go without a fight. It just appeared one day, a dark cloud over the shining light of the sky, the only abrasion to the beautiful landscape. It tarnished the sky like tainted water, polluting everything it came in contact with. It turned the beasts against each other, and it forced man into many new wars, some far more disastrous than the first. It came without warning, no one expected it, and now it corrupted the lives of the pure, disrupted the peace of the humble, destroyed the wonders of magnificent that had been the planet’s forests, swamps, grasslands… everything. It was here now, and it was here to stay.

Strangely, no one seemed to notice. Perhaps this darkness deceived the many by poisoning their minds; perhaps the beasts became confused by its overshadowing presence. At any rate, the monstrosity seemed to have taken on a different tactic, slowly recruiting those of the impure with unrelenting fervor. Those strong enough to resist its control focused their attention on the strengthening corruption within their facilities, ignoring the true master behind the sudden change in morality. It was their self-appointed duty to end the evil that had suddenly come forth, but they knew not where it came, so their focus became the individuals who had converted to the darkness, and this misplaced attention suited the deceptive horror just fine. It appeared as though no one could stop the beast, for no one knew its identity, and it easily recruited followers of darkness, making the new war one to last an eternity, lest someone discover the beast’s true face.

Yet there was hope. A prophecy long forgotten lies dormant in the heart of the planet… Only those foresighted enough can grasp its meaning – and those are few in number. Those who seek it do not always succeed, but those who do can discover the secret. It is these few whom the world relies on now, although the rest of the world does not know it yet.

It will take many months, maybe even years, for the task to be complete, but when it is, the world shall be purged from the darkness that has overshadowed it… and then peace can come once again to the lands that have been torn by war.
