Just Make It Go Away

By Storm December

Disclaimer: This is MINE do NOT use without MY permission!

I’ll never ask for another thing, if you would grant this wish for me.

I feel a pain I cannot fight, and now no longer can I hide.

I’ll never ask for another thing, just make it go away…please.

--

I know they’re gone and can’t come back, but don’t remind my heart of that.

It can't seem to forget, the last thing they ever said.

The way they laughed to greet the night, the way they smiled in morning light.

I’ll never ask for another thing, just make it go away…please.

--

I know I have no right to this, but I can’t breathe and think of them.

Memories are weary things, and they only add to the grief.

I’ll never ask for another thing, just make it go away…please.
