Suffer little children
sleeping and unwittingly sold
arrive to follow charted paths
to die before their corpse grows cold

Suffer little children
deaf to whispers outside the womb
they fall into the webs we've spun
caught wide-eyed in our loom

Suffer little children
fierce light meets you at birth
all else since seems blinding
now you walk despoiled upon the earth

Draw close, little children
others like you have come before
their glossy eyes are dull beneath
and they are children no more
