They run and flow and splash about,

All of those things you live without.

You snatch, you grab, and you scoop at them

But your devices work no better than an unsewn hem.

The essence of life so easy to touch,

Is impossible to capture; no matter how much.

Beautiful and flowing they always enchant,

Desiring those things you know you can’t.

A series of failures, one after the next

You think you know what to expect.

But when was the last time you just dove in?

Willing to forget the world you’re standing within?

It is so easy to want and regret,

But so hard to lose and forget.

So I must pose a challenge to you.

Next time you desire, to follow through.

For without action there is no chance.
