“Everything looks perfect from far away…”

Please comply when I implore

You to explore

Beneath---

Peel back the

Layers like skin

Akin to a rotted tomato’s

A pulp putrid feast awaits.

Does this appetize

Your lusting eyes

(Desensitized)

To see a vixen’s mortal form?

Without her frosting

The darling cake

Makes for one revolting mistake---

Can you b r e a k

This fake love

When veracity breaks your fall?

Chasing nymphs through

The grass

Thorns scratch as you pass,

Sugar plums in her hair

Gazelle with measured flair

Lulled air rustles green

Through leaves and paints

A faerie scene.

Dewdrops on eyelashes

Light hits skin in flashes.

She dashes.

At last she is caught…

Is she what you thought?

From afar she looked

As she ought.
