Do I always hurt the ones I love

Even when I don’t mean to

Is it that makes me react so harshly

To their reaching

Will it take my relationships

If I cannot end it

Will my withdrawal end

So that I stop hurting them

Will I hurt next

When I back away out of instinctive fear

Do I stop this endless cycle

Of pain, fear, and love
