A/N: This was written within two minutes of being lead to Officer Washington's office. This is the reward I get for stepping in between two friends that are fighting.

Foolish Acts of Love

An act of love turns into hate.

An intervention becomes Assault.

When two friends fight themselves,

A lone friend steps between,

To settle the clash that shakes a friendship.

Both girls this boy loves,

Trying to clear clouded vision.

One overpossesive,

The other overcome with jealousy.

At each others throats,

No sight in end.

The lone friend tries,

Tries to judge fairly,

Choosing neither his love,

Nor his former love.

In an exchange of words,

And insults galore,

The friend follows the former love.

Desperatly trying to get her to see the truth.

But for the second time she refuses to see reason.

Then he screws up.

He attempts to turn her around,

Get her to face him and listen.

But it goes horribly wrong.

Now he is in handcuffs with a ticket and a court date,

and Assault on his record.

All because of overexageration,

and because of a,

foolish act of love.
