He raises his voice.

She raises hers.

He raises a fist.

She gets on his nerves.

The tension's been building,

Tighter and tighter.

One night she left,

I took Daddy's lighter.

I burnt down his house

He really diserved it,

Beating up Mummy,

He just hit her and hit.

He takes a swing,

Fist hits flesh,

He's been saving that one,

One of his best.

Daddy used to box,

He was a champion,

But he lost his title

When he couldn't kick an addiction.

This made him angry,

He cut up his head,

He was in no more fights,

So he hit Mummy instead.

She's down on the floor

Not moving at all.

I wish Daddy wouldn't

Make Mummy fall.

Daddystomps round

"Come here" he calls,

"Come here my darling"

As he bangs the walls.

He opensthe door,

I'm under the bed,

I see blood on his hnds

From Mummy's head.

I let out a squeel,

He hears, and comes,

Looks under the bed,

That was his and Mum's

"Come here my darling!"

He shouts with twisted delight.

You wont be going to sleep

Tonight.
