The Goddesses of Nature
Goddess of the Sun,
Shine down thy light,
And cast out the night;
Helping the lost,
Find their way,
Through a darkness,
Cold as the depths of Hell.
Goddess of Rain,
Pour down thy tears,
That washes away the years,
That has left behind scars,
So deep, that only your healing tears
Can cure;
Only the tears of a Goddess.
Goddess of the Wind,
Let out thy breath,
Blow away their fears,
That seems to consume them,
Leaving them to wallow in self-pity;
So sweep away their troubles
And cast them to the four winds.
Goddess of the Flames,
Fill them with thy warmth,
Let them be filled with thine affection,
That softens their hearts,
That had so long ago
Forgotten how to feel;
Let them feel thine tenderness.
And last, but not least,
Goddess of the Earth
Show them thy beauty,
Teach them the wonder of creation,
The joy of birth;
Let them marvel
At all you have created
And have them yearn to do the same.
