Today when I woke up I expected never to see you again
As darkness fell, my heart fell too
The one I loved had disapeared from my life
But as I walked that familiar path that lead me to you
When you moved all was lost
But today as I walk I find that your old house is now inhabited again.
I start to weep
I walk up to the door to see your smilling face
And I begin to smile to
You were the only one in my life that was ever able to look past my dark clothes and know I can love
And on this night you look at me, and say "You're as pretty as ever, and I came back to tell you 'I love you'and 'will you marry me?'"
I soon find myself in your arms remembering the day you left and said "I will come back for you."
And I also realize that you are the first to ever tell me the truth.
