Darkened tears fall down

Staining pure white ground

Black crows sing a melody

And songbirds scour below

Falling, falling

Drifting, fading

Blackened mind

And broken heart

The path ahead

Has split apart

Running away

But still running back

Crying

But smiling

Unable to tell

What’s happening to me

Falling, falling

Drifting, fading

Blackened mind

And broken heart

The path ahead

Has split apart

Sitting in the dark

Yet blinded by the light

Screaming out

Yet remaining silent

An endless twisting paradox

Don’t worry, I don’t expect you to care

Falling, falling

Drifting, fading

Blackened mind

And broken heart

The path ahead

Has split apart

Blood and gunshot

Played again

And this time the weapon

Is in my hand

But don’t worry, I don’t expect you to care
