Spiders crawl over me

leaving bite marks all over my skin,

spinning webs of sticky thread

to somehow wrap me in.

Long legs take them here and there

as they suck the blood from my veins.

They try their best to make due with

the large victim their webs contain.

The bites turn red and swell

from the spiders’ venom injections,

but you cannot see these bites I have,

for I have already been wrapped to perfection.

Eventually they get bored and open me up,

tearing my flesh apart.

Some decide to live in my stomach;

others lay eggs in my heart.

I’m already buried in a coffin,

and by the minute my body decays.

So I honestly do not mind

as the spiders eat me away.
