A/N: cherish your friends, don't take them for granted, for one day, they just might not be there anymore.

Everything is falling.

She’s drifting further,

She, whom I trust,

Becoming unreachable.

I can see the widening gap,

The tangible tension,

As silence fills the air,

The loss of words,

Only driving us further apart.

--

I am losing her,

The distance too far to jump,

I am loosing her,

The widening space now more visible.

We don’t walk side by side anymore,

Not talking as we did before,

She came into the picture.

--

Dark secrets

Hidden in mind

Face the agony

Of losing

Unbelievable anguish

Losing the one you trust

No longer cherished

Feeling the falter in steps

Such a long journey to go

And all alone

Because

You’re leaving me behind.

--

I stand silently watching,

As you walk past

Side by side.

I see no recognition in your eyes,

I see,

I understand now.

--

What has happened to our unbreakable friendship?

--

I smile,

The guard is up,

As I gaze through a wall of cracked glass,

As my eyes,

Silently say goodbye.

--

Trust is fragile

Once shattered

Even if fitted back

Once again

There will be

A tiny piece missing

In the glass

A memory

--

You’re leaving me behind

Feelings of past

Nonexistent

Leaving me with a dream

Leaving me broken

Left a scar

I will no longer trust again

So now

Walk this road alone.

--

A memory

Of things you did

Trust not fully

Unless worthy

Once scarred

One does not trust again

--
