NO TITLE, suggest one? D

Angular bone structures

Align his pretty face

His vibrant cocky smile,

Seems to have fallen out of place

My heart was emptied to him

Whispers of nights shared

And temporarily to me

It seemed as if someone cared

During those sleepless nights

Occupied by thoughts of him

it only appeared that

his patience was wearing thin

To me he was only

A close acquaintance, a friend

But unbeknownst to me

To him I was more of a trend

A fad or a new personality,

Something he wished to learn

I to him was an unopened book

Only with an ending of scorn

A new magical fairy tale

Filled with agonistic schemes and plots

But when he read the epilogue

A friend was he longer not.

Upon his confrontation

Was not Hades set loose?

When I replied to him

Out stuttered meaningless lies and truth

We became empty people

Swallowed by emotion’s tide

Fading empty silhouettes,

Too deep within our pride

We promised to go back

To the way things used to be

Maybe he was a friend to me

But it appears, I was never to he.
