This my first attempt at a "beat" poem. That's probably why it's so short. :) Please R&R!

Failing Love

The pain and joy I hold inside,

The fear of love is why I've cried.

I wonder when I'll love again.

I know I'll love you 'til the end.

Tears across my face subside,

Behind my mask I let them hide.

I know you'll never do me harm,

For you're my love, my lucky charm.

I did my best, I really tried,

But yet again, I've failed, you've died.
