-Untitled-

I hate your smile,

because it sends shivers down my spine.

I hate your voice,

that can make me say ‘yes’ in one ‘please’.

I hate your laugh,

that sounds like music in my ears.

I hate the way I stutter,

when we talk to each other.

I hate the way my knees go weak,

when we’re so close together.

I hate the way my heart flutters,

when you shower me with praises.

I hate the trust you gave me,

I am unworthy of it.

I hate the way you care for me,

it fills my heart up with gratitude.

I hate it when you’re sweet to me,

it encourages me to hope.

Most of all,

I hate how platonic our friendship is,

that reminds me not to fall for you,

although I already did.

I hate you,

but I love you.
