It doesn't take
Long
For me to fall apart
Face tilted toward the light
(Christe eleison, Kyrie eleison)
Back pushed out straight
(Sale me, fons pietatis)
And it doesn't take
Much
For me to ask as I learnt
Feeling my knuckles cracking
(Libera me, libera me)
And buckling in their release
(Dona me requiem)
And it won't be
Enough
To make me believe in
(Sanctus, sanctus, sanctus)
Or stop me asking again
(Benidictus qui venit)
Translation:
-Christ have mercy, Lord have mercy-
-Save me, fount of mercy-
-Deliver me, free me-
-Give me rest-
-Holy, Holy, Holy-
-Blessed is he who comes-
