Polychromatophilic

White
The pure ivory of an angel—
a guardian’s soft, pearly hue

Black
The bruised, blue shade of solitude
The deep, onyx silence,
intensified by crippling loneliness

Orange
The ugly, gnawing color of hunger
Dark and desperateA maddening knot of need—
lightened only by satisfaction

Red
The bloody scarlet of rage
That builds into a crimson blindness of fury

Colors on a spectrum
Stained into words
and feeling
