No Chance to Hide by: Late March

This is just a little poem that I wrote in CCG class today. I’m not sure if it’s really that great, but I feel that it adequately expresses my feelings. I am currently revamping my image. I’m changing my make up, putting on clothes but not jackets to hide my figure. This is what I feel.

No chance to hide
Raw and bare
My face,
It turns from scrutiny.

No chance to hide
Fresh and new
My eyes,
They close with shyness.

No chance to hide
Unsettling and unfamiliar
My lips,
They purse in embarrassment.

No chance to hide
Real and disillusioned
My head,
It bows in meekness.

No chance to hide
Raw and Bare
My face…
It turns from scrutiny.

So that’s it! I think it’s okay, but I’d love to hear your opinion. Review please!
