Angel Boy

Revised

By Storm December

Disclaimer: This poem is revised from an untitled poem in the story ‘Falter’ by Wasteoid/I Try/I’ll Try Again

The world reaches out to touch you

But you’re tumbling far too fast

You don’t see perfection in you

Like we see as you pass

--

And in the glow of moon light

I saw what beauty was/ True beauty’s what I found

An image all too pure/ All too pure an image

Not to break the heart

--

In your heart, Angel Boy

You know you’re falling fast

Too broken now for flying

Since someone clipped your wings
