i almost love the way you said that
you want to forget because i know
(oh god, i know) how much that isn't
true. and i dare enough to believe her
when she tells me that you are just too
afraid (because, honey, i still am too).
but i want you to know that it hurts
more to know that i have to learn it
from her (oh, why not from you?).

she was never meant to be involved
in the first place (although she made
me bleed too). this is just between
you and me (with the fact that i bleed
and you just don't seem to care).
